The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. Ps 51:17

7/28/08 Hey, happy Monday:). I'm out playing golf with and old friend Dan Johnson this morning at " '0 dark 6". Sunday morning at church I went by myself and let the family sleep:).. Sr. Pastor Dwight was preaching in James 4, and trying to find a way to not to beat everybody up. There are those verses that are just pretty "honest" in their exhortation. Yes we all can think of a half dozen at any time. The good part is that they are there for the Holy Spirit to "do His work" in us. Well anyway, during the end of worship I had a song thought pop in my head. I'll tell the story in depth on my personal blog.( you know where it is if you subscribe to that feed). Well I left the church and came home and couldn't find the lyric anywhere. I went through my bible and my pockets a few times. No way I was gonna let this lyric/idea pass by. Long story but I found the sheet back in the church garbage can an hour later :). Here's today's home demo of the song written during worship yesterday morning. I skipped the "Twins" game to get a quick demo of it..
" Reign Forever"

7/26/08 As part of a future C.C. worship future project, I've started demoing and writing songs to evaluate. Here's a song written last year that I demo'd at home this week to review. Set Me Free. My thinking was to possibly call the project "Offerings of Worship". The idea is songs that fit the slot of being sung during the "offerings" slot of mainline services. They all have a worship style chorus, but a little more C.C. style verses so they fit better as a special or offering tune than during the focused corporate worship set where every lyric needs to be focused and corporate.

Well, A week now after demoing " Said a King To A King ", I've decided that I''m gonna put a rhythm track behind it and speed it up 10 clicks. Hey, hope you all had a great day of worship at your local church:) !

7/22/08 Yesterday I found a lyric to a song I'd written with fellow writer Rick Barron in '07. . It was written for M.L.K weekend. Just a quick keyboard demo of it. Hope to find the right artist to cut it.
Said A King To A King
.

7/17/08 A taste of what's to come. Here is a link to open an mp3 of three tunes from the new record. They don't have brass, choir or line singers on them yet, but they're coming along.

7/11/08 Believing for some major direction to take place this month as we ask for confirmation as to where we are to put the "ministry" plow, and how...

6/4/08 New Worship. Wrote and demo'd a new tune over the last few days. An Irish Folk Song about the trials of life and the choices we make. "There Will Be Times". As with all my music, share and link it - just don't charge for it. When we put it out in album form, please buy it if it blesses you.:) Until then be blessed and pray for this ministry direction.

5/25/08. New Worship.. Well you can hear a brand new medium tempo praise tune I have written and recorded a demo of here at the house this week. It's called "Here He Comes".Let me know what you think.
My idea was to write a medium tempo praise anthem that repeats Christ's victory over Satan and our victory and authority given to us by the cross over sin and the enemy.
